WDF&S offers condo style bin ownership in which area growers can keep lots separate and clean, therefore enhancing identity preservation and segregation. When the farmer is not using his storage, he can lease it to someone else or the plant. Each bin is set up with its separate electricity and aeration. The condo bins allow the plant to have product on hand for uninterrupted processing runs. The plant was built with gentle handling in mind so, several of the storage bins have bean ladders to slow the speed for less seed breakage, and we use variable speed conveyors and elevator legs for lifting grain. Besides the condo bins we have storage for clean and dirty grain that range in size from 1,000 to 5,000 bushels with most being in the 3,000 to 4,000 bushel range. These bins offer growers less handling and transporting costs.
